PHOTOGRAPHY
You can use a smartphone or a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera, or a mirrorless camera to take photos. The most important part is to keeping expanding your horizons as a photographer by always trying out new angles, getting closer to your subject, and always thinking about what the composition looks like, and whether it makes someone want to look at your photos a little bit longer, because they’re so interesting! Never stop exploring ways to edit your photos on your phone, or with digital editing programs on the computer (there are lots of free ones, and also paid subscriptions, such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.). Have fun experimenting with the ways of capturing light and shadows in your photos, and don’t forget how fun it is to take photos using reflective surfaces, or by shooting through something (like a ziploc bag, or a piece of lace or netting). Spend a lot of time on Instagram and searching through the internet for photographers that inspire you!
Most of all, HAVE FUN and try to take at least one photo every day, just for fun.
The best way to learn how to become a great photographer is to JUST KEEP TAKING PHOTOS ALL THE TIME… the rest will work itself out!
